BNP Paribas, cinema partner

1BNP Paribas, exclusive partner of national promotional campaigns for moviegoing

BNP Paribas is the exclusive partner of the National Federation of French Cinemas for major events in cinema: Le Printemps du Cinéma, La Fête du Cinéma and La Rentrée Cinéma.

BNP Paribas distributes one million movie passes each year, at reduced prices, to provide as many movie-goers as possible with the opportunity to escape in front of the big screen.

2 BNP Paribas, PARTNER OF FILM EVENTS

For many years, BNP Paribas has provided support to more than thirty national and regional events such as the Télérama Film Festival, the Grand Lyon Film Festival, the Champs Elysées Film Festival, the César Awards (since 2006) and the Mobile Film Festival, which provides support to filmmakers of one-minute short films shot with a mobile phone.

3BNP Paribas, Partner of art-house cinema

BNP Paribas partnered with the Trianon theater in 2010, helping the venue play a unique role in teaching young people. Le Trianon also remains a popular site for cultural events for enthusiasts.

In 2013, BNP Paribas decided to support another symbolic art-house cinema, Le Balzac, and contributes to preserving the diversity of cinema-going in the Champs-Elysées neighborhood.

4BNP Paribas, supporting cinema for everyone

BNP Paribas supports Les Toiles Enchantées, an association chaired by Alain Chabat, whose mission is to provide access to culture and entertainment to hospitalized young children, and allow them to see recently released films free of charge.
BNP Paribas also supports the École de la Cité, Cinéma et Télévision, an association created by Luc Besson whose objective is to train tomorrow's moviemaking and television professionals.

BNP Paribas has also contributed to the restoration of several classic films: 4 Charlie Chaplin films ("Modern Times", "The Kid", "The Gold Rush", and "The Circus") and, in 2013, Jacques Demy's "Les Demoiselles de Rochefort" and Jacques Tati's "Parade."

In 2012, BNP Paribas launched "Séance Radio", a webradio and iPhone/Android/Facebook application. "Séance Radio" provides film lovers with rich content on all genres of world cinema by broadcasting reviews and music from original soundtracks, 24/7: www.seanceradio.com, @seanceradio.

In 2014, BNP Paribas launched the first free application to organize cinema outings in groups. The Séance Ciné app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It allows users to quickly choose up to three movie shows and send friends e-mail or SMS invitations and confirm the outing with their preferences. Going to the cinema with friends has never been simpler!
