MOVING: BANKING FORMALITIES

FIRST AND FOREMOST

To change your bank branch you must provide your new contact information (address, telephone number and e-mail address) to your current branch as soon as possible.

If you are moving abroad, we recommend that you meet with your advisor to review your accounts and services for tax and regulatory reasons.

HOW DO I TRANSFER MY ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER BRANCH?

To make managing your accounts easier, you can transfer your account to a BNP Paribas branch that is closer to your new home or workplace.

You can request to have your account transferred at your current branch, new branch or any other BNP Paribas branch. All of your accounts and services will be automatically transferred.

With your Permanent Banking References, you retain the same account, policy and contract numbers, customer number and PIN code for online services.

If you do not wish to transfer your account, remember that you can easily manage your accounts online using the BNP Paribas mobile app, "Mes Comptes", by visiting the website: mabanque.bnpparibas or by calling +33 (0)1 57 08 22 00.

PREPARING TO SWITCH BRANCHES

STAY INSURED

To make sure you are covered, you will need to modify your insurance policies and possibly subscribe to new policies.

For example, if you do not hold a BNP Paribas policy, you can take advantage of your move by comparing your current policy with BNP Paribas Home Insurance.

Please note

  • If you already hold a BNP Paribas Auto Insurance policy or a BNP Paribas Home Insurance policy, you must contact Natio Assurance to inform them of your address change.
  • If you have a BNP Alarm and Remote Surveillance System, you must contact Protection 24 customer service to uninstall your kit and reinstall it at your new place of residence.
